Ecoinstitut Barcelona (Association Ecoinstitut of Applied Ecology) is constituted as a non-profit organisation in 1999, as a result of the collaboration, since 1986, between different people and organisms of Barcelona, as well as of the relation with pioneer and similar entities of different European States.

In the course of time, it becomes an association of professionals that, without leaving its foundational principles, develops tasks of technical office and guidance to organisations, in social and environmental change processes.
